How the numbers are worked out

  1. Hours a month = times a week × minutes each time ÷ 60 × 52 weeks ÷ 12 months × the share from your answer about drafts (a quarter, half or three quarters).
  2. Value of time per month = estimated hours saved per month × staff cost per hour. Agent costs are not deducted.
  3. Calculations run in your browser and do not send your numbers to us. Opening the full plan sends contact details, the chosen agent and consent choices.

How do you get from my answer to a share of the work?

The calculator assumes 25% of task time is saved if you rewrite most of the draft, 50% if you fix a few lines, and 75% if you mostly approve it. Actual time saved depends on the task and how you use the agent.

Does the agent send things on its own?

The plan describes tasks the agent can prepare and actions that need your approval. The estimate assumes a person reviews the work before it is sent.

What happens to the numbers I enter?
