PDF forms and extraction (Anthropic)
Pulls text and tables out of PDFs, merges, splits and watermarks them, creates new PDFs and fills in PDF forms, with text recognition for scanned pages. A separate guide walks the agent through both fillable and non-fillable forms.
When to use it
Pulling figures out of supplier invoices or bank statements, or filling in a government or supplier PDF form.

Before you enable it: Runs Python scripts on local PDFs and can encrypt or decrypt files. It is source-available under Anthropic's terms, which restrict copying or adapting it outside Anthropic's services.

This skill uses the open Agent Skills format (a folder with a SKILL.md file), so the same file works in several agents.
