Watch product releases daily and flag what is worth writing about

An XDA writer had OpenAI dots watch three software projects for new releases and flag anything worth a story. It set up daily checks, flagged a release, and rechecked the source when he questioned the version number.

What they did

He asked the dot to monitor Lemonade Server, Windows Insider and Proxmox releases. It created a daily check and flagged a new Lemonade release. When he asked from his phone why the version number looked wrong, it went back to the official release page and GitHub's API and explained the project's year-and-week numbering. He also used it for a morning inbox brief and set a rule to confirm before any email is sent.

How it went

The release watch ran on its own and the dot refused to claim a performance gain the release notes did not mention. The morning brief was mostly useful.

Worth knowing

The inbox brief only saw the latest 40 emails because of a Gmail read limit, and dot memories cannot be edited one by one. The flagged version number confused him until he asked for a recheck.

Try it with OpenAI dots

Every morning, check the release pages for <product 1>, <product 2> and <product 3>. Tell me about any new version, what changed according to the official notes, and whether it is worth a post for <your audience>. Link the source and do not claim anything the notes do not say.
