Write an industry report from a stack of interview transcripts

Audience Strategies, a five-person consultancy, used Claude to analyse about 25 interviews for its annual State of Electronic Music report on the UK sector, cutting the project from three months to four weeks.

What they did

The team transcribed interviews with otter.ai and uploaded them, along with strategy documents linked live from Google Docs, into shared Claude projects. A series of prompts summarised key takeaways, sorted insights into report sections such as economic impact and policy challenges, pulled notable quotes and found themes across interviews.

How it went

The company says analysis per interview fell from two hours to 25 minutes, the report covered 30 percent more topics, and it was later cited in local nightlife strategies. Connecting interview comments also surfaced a new research thread.

Worth knowing

The team checked and edited everything before publication and owns any mistakes, but the page does not explain how the thematic analysis was verified.

Try it with Claude

I have uploaded <number> interview transcripts about <your industry>. For each one, list the key takeaways and the two strongest quotes. Then sort all insights under these report sections: <your section list>, and point out themes that appear in at least three interviews, naming which interviews support each theme so I can check them.
