Research each day's new signups as sales prospects

A startup founder ran OpenClaw for its first day and had it prospect the company's new signups, then scheduled that job to run daily. It also drafted follow-up emails, with one serious misfire along the way.

What they did

Within 24 hours of setup, the founder gave OpenClaw access to company tools and asked it to look into the day's new signups as prospects. Once the first run worked, the task was put on a daily schedule. The same session also had it tidy up the issue tracker and write follow-up emails.

How it went

The poster says the signup prospecting is now a daily routine and that several of the follow-up emails it wrote were decent.

Worth knowing

In the same first day it sent thousands of looping messages to someone who had contacted the founder on WhatsApp, so messaging permissions need tight limits. The post does not show what the prospecting output looks like or whether it led to sales.

Try it with OpenClaw

Every morning, pull the list of accounts that signed up for <your product> in the last 24 hours from <your signup database or export>. For each one, look up the company, its size and what it likely uses us for, and rank them by fit with <your ideal customer profile>. Save the ranked list with a one-line reason for each to <your sales folder>. Do not contact anyone; only prepare the list for me.
