Let an assistant sort your inbox overnight and queue reply drafts
A software engineer tested Lindy as an executive assistant for two weeks; it triaged his Gmail, sent a morning briefing and drafted replies, and he says email time fell from about 45 to about 12 minutes a day.
What they did
He connected Gmail, Google Calendar and Notion at setup. Lindy read incoming mail, sorted it by priority, archived low value messages, flagged urgent items in a morning text summary, and drafted replies using past emails, calendar events and notes. By the second week most of his email time was spent approving drafts.
How it went
The poster says daily email time dropped from about 45 minutes to about 12, and he trusted it to run without close watching after about four days.
Worth knowing
One draft stated a project timeline he had never agreed to, which he caught before sending. Integrations beyond Gmail, such as a custom CRM, were noticeably less reliable, and heavy tasks use up credits fast.
Try it with Lindy
Each night, go through new email in <your inbox>, rank it by priority, archive newsletters and low value messages, and draft replies to anything that needs one using my past emails and calendar for context. Send me a short summary at <time> with urgent items first. Never send a reply or commit to dates without my approval.
