Quote moving jobs instantly from customer photos or video
Thai logistics group SCGJWD told a Bangkok AI conference that its moving service uses visual AI to estimate prices: customers send photos or video and the system calculates the load volume and issues a quote on the spot.
What they did
Instead of sending staff to survey each job, the moving service asks customers to send photos or a video of what needs to be moved. A visual AI system works out the volume of space the items will take up and produces a quotation immediately. The company's digital innovation head described it alongside other AI projects in a fireside chat at Qwen Conference Thailand 2026.
How it went
The company says quotes now go out immediately, which helps it close sales faster.
Worth knowing
The talk did not name the AI vendor or model behind the system, and no accuracy, conversion or volume figures were given for the quoting tool.
Try it with Custom agent
I run a <type of service, e.g. moving or storage> business. Here are photos of a customer's items: <photos>. List the items you can see, estimate the total volume in cubic meters with your assumptions, and suggest the vehicle size from <your vehicle list>. Then draft a quote using <your price sheet> and flag anything you could not see clearly so a staff member can confirm before it is sent.
