Fix meta tags and internal links across hundreds of pages
Australian SEO agency StudioHawk is testing Claude Code in controlled batches for site-wide SEO chores, connected to CMS APIs and Search Console. The agency estimates multi-day jobs drop to minutes or hours.
What they did
Claude Code pulls page data through WordPress, Shopify or headless CMS APIs and uses Search Console to find pages with high impressions but low click-through. The team tested meta tag reviews on hundreds of pages, adding contextual internal links across large blogs, refreshing weak pages, restructuring categories, auditing structured data and checking AI crawler access in robots.txt. Runs use dry-run mode, audit logs, backups and rate limits.
How it went
The agency says early results are promising and estimates, for example, that a meta review of hundreds of pages goes from 6 to 8 hours to minutes, and internal linking across a large blog from days to under an hour.
Worth knowing
The time figures are estimates with no traffic or ranking results shown. A human strategist approves every change, and the agency warns unsupervised automation can cause index bloat or weaker content.
Try it with Claude Code
Read the Search Console export in <gsc export file> and list pages with high impressions but click-through below <threshold>. For each, propose a new meta title and description within length limits, based on the page content at <site URL>. Save a before and after table to <output file> and do not push any change to the CMS.
